Small Argosy Motorhome Question Alan 8-13-06
More than 20 years ago I new someone who had a Argosy Motorhome, it was beige in color. I do not know how many feet long it was but it was small and it had a 350 Oldsmobile engine it it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what years they put that motor in the Argosy Motorhomes and what footage. I am guessing the bigger ones had a bigger engine in them.

I've been looking at the Argosys recently, from what I can find out, most have a Chevy 454.

I really like the shape of them, if anyone is selling, please let me know.

Check out this site for Airstream/Argosy motorhome information.

The 350 engine was only in the 20' units. The 454 was an upgrade option.

The 20' Argosys can be worth $3k to $9k depending on condition.

I have a 1974 Argosy I would like to sell. We use to use it a lot when the boys were smaller, especially when they were playing in baseball tournements. I have not used it for the last two summers. It currently has about 57,000 miles on the 454 Chevy engine. I am thinking of asking $5,000. Please let me know if you are interested.
