Have a '77 26' Argosy, am confused about the waste tanks/drainage system on it. There is a waste valve on the road side frame right next to the city water inlet fitting. This seems to control the gray and black both, this is why I say this. There is a handle for a waste valve in the bumper almost in the center, seems to make no difference, as well as one I just found again on the roadside frame about midway between the battery compartment and rear of frame. Have no idea what this does or is supposed to do. Also, roughly 1/2 of the water tanks contents can be used, and water starts to come up through the tub drain. Just curious as to what these drains are supposed to do, and how much waste water is the unit supposed to hold before emptying. HHHEEELLLPPP!!! Thank you in advance for any info....
Do you have a rear bath or center bath trailer? If you have a rear bath, the sewer or black tank valve is the one by city water hook-up. The valve in the center should be the auxilary tank. Could the aux. tank valve be stuck part way open? When you remove sewer cap does liquid come out when the handles are in the closed position? On a rear bath the black tank holds 12 gal. and aux. tank holds 10 gal.
