My wife and I have been looking, off and on, for our first RV. We thought looking a good quality older vehicles was a way to see if we enjoyed the experience without breaking the bank. Have looked in the 94-95 range for Pace Arrows and Vectras.
I ran into a '86 classic airstream that claimed to have really low mileage and well maintained (garaged). My question is how easily are these vehicles maintained?, parts availability?, decals for restoration?. Any "up or down" sides to considering an 18+ year old vehicle is appreciated.

Whoa--you didn't mention the condition. It's easy to maintain these Airstreams, but they are not cheap. The quality is outstanding. Parts, etc., all available from factory in Jackson, OH. Go by and take a tour. But, we consider our '70 Airstream to be an investment that will be passed down to our children.
