The headliner in our 97 airstream is sagging. It is made of vinal with a foam backing... does the old dried glue need to be removed before re gluing..whats the best way to do this...any suggestions on how to prevent this? or fix it?

I am also having the same problem in my 97 Airstream motorhome. Liner has fallen down in two places. The liner is glued to a thin sheet of veneer. Looks like I may have to take the sheet out and glue a new liner on it.Not sure how to fix, BIG PROBLEM. If you fine easier way please let me know.
Thanks,HP
