We're looking for a 1960's trailer not more than 19 ft long. We have a preference for Airstream (ideally a Bambi II), Avion or Silver Streak, but would certainly consider others. We live in the Pacific Northwest, but are willing to travel to get the right trailer. The trailer should be fundamentally sound, but we're willing to put time and effort into it, if needed.
Thanx
I'm from the Pacific Northwest originally. I miss it. I now live in Park City, Utah and am selling my 20' Airstream Globetrotter. It's 20' from "ball to hitch" and it onabout 17 in body length. It's in great shape. You can see an ad at: http://www.rvclassified.com/rvclassified_cfmfiles/ads/adsearch2.cfm?adid=51183
My dad has a 64 Globe Trotter. It has not been used for about 15 years, but has been under cover all that time. We are located in Texas so if you were to want it, it would need to have new tires. I am not sure what works and what doesn't.
What are you willing to offer for the trailer? Right now he is not thinking about selling it... but he is never going to use it.
I have a 1970 silver streak travel trailer. Its 28 feet long and in GREAT condition. I am in the Texas area. Its
