My husband and I are looking for a 1960's Airstream in decent condition. We are willing to do minor work. Minor imperfections are okay as long as the camper is usable and a decent price (under $1000 preferrably).

WOW! Good luck. I hope you can find one in that price range. The 60's vintage are a very popular vintage. One needing extensive work would go for more than that. I am in Michigan as well and I do run across several Airstreams and Argosys. If you want I may able to help.
