I am looking for an airstream rv, 20' to 30'. I don't know the model but it has to be the type still made with rivits and aluminum, not the fiberglass of the new ones. Will travel anywhere to purchase.

We have a very nice 1986 Sovereign Airstream travel trailer (31') with many extras. We replaced the carpet and toilet in 2003. Everything else is original to the unit and in good condition. We recently purchased a 2004 Motor Home (also an Airstream) and that's the only reason we're selling the travel trailer. It's a peach inside and out and a dream to tow. We also have a Hensley Hitch if you're interested. We're located just a bit north of Atlanta.

I'm selling a 1976 24' Argosy motorhome in fair condition. The body and glass are great. It's usable and driveable but needs some work on accessories. The interior has been redone in oak and it has oak parquet flooring. It's been repainted in silver with red trim. I'm asking $4500. It's located near Rochester, NY. We are selling a 1977, 24' Argosy motorhome that has fire damage. It WAS in very good, original condition. 70,000 original miles, 454 high-tuned engine, rebuilt tranny, original manual. Fridge destroyed, electrical panel (source of the fire) and gauges destroyed, one exterior aluminum panel needs to be replaced. Most everything else just has smoke or water damage. 112,000 miles ('92) = for $14,000 ?	Judy	5-5-05
Am I crazy to consider buying this Airstream RV with 112,000 on it? I am a 55 yr. old widow in poor health but possessed of TONS OF COURAGE. I am disabled with lung damage, but I have the use of all arms, legs, etc. Since I can't work, money is an issue. I definately want a Class B, and had hoped for a Roadtrek, but not many are available in my price range. I could afford say a $5000 - $10,000 disaster repair. But that's the max. It has a Ford460 engine. Twenty years ago I backpacked behind the Iron Curtain alone, so I'm keen to travel. I just don't want to make a stupid buy. Many thanks, Judy
