I need a new lock for our 1988 airstream 345 classic rv. I cannot find any information on this lock. It has two "heads" like large nail heads that fir into a latch. THey are worn and have trouble catching. The lock works good with a key once the heads catch. Any information would be helpful.

I recently bought an airstream, and one of the spare parts included was a brand new door lock mechanism.let me know if interested I can send you photos

I also have a 1973 Argasy, and the lock is also broken, and I also have a 1970 Airstream in which has the same lock. I have found several but they are very expensive, $400-$600 each. The best search is your local Airstream Dealer.They might have the parts also or the lock. They made this lock from 1970 to 1977. I have done research on this lock.
