|Airstream repair: SF Bay Area||nick||9-11-03|
My Airstream 345 Motorhome was just damaged by a hit and run driver. I'm waiting for the insurance apraiser. Does anyone know of a good aluminum body shop that can fix Airstreams well?
Thanks very much,

|I would think that the best place to get an airstream sheet metal work done would be at an FBO (fixed base operator)its a facility that works on aircraft. I am a sheet metal aircraft mechanic, and I have done many non aviation projects with excellent results.|

|I have a 66 Safari that needs a lot of work. I am interested in getting the bathroom functioning as well as the electrical system. I am not interested in renovation, just want to get those two systems working. I plan to use the trailer as a spare bedroom at a family retreat.|
Do you know of anyone who can do this work at a reasonable price?
