|Help! Need to move 31' Airstream from Oneida NY to Rome PA! Not in tow-able condition!||Tracey Kasten||4-29-03|
|Help! I am posting on behalf of my mother-in-law who must move a 31' Airstream from Oneida, NY to Rome PA due to a death in the family. |
The trailer cannot be towed in conventional fashion, as the tires and breaks are in need of repair. What kind of options are there for getting it moved? Or would it be less expensive for her to have the breaks and tires fixed there in Oneida? She is on a fixed income, so we are trying to help her out with whatever options she can get. If it is cheaper to have it fixed there so that it can be towed, how does one find a repair shop near Oneida that can fix it? Can any repair shop get the parts needed to make it road-worthy? I'm sorry for all the questions, but we're not trailer-savvy and are just doing what we can to help her out and minimize the burden on as best we can. We appreciate any suggestions you can provide us.
