The AC in '66 Ambassador by C. Lynn

I let my son and his wife live in my Airstream and they used the AC for a year without a filter!! Now they're out of it and I'm trying my best to make it work again. The compressor turns on, and the fan, if I help it with my hand, will spin, but only for a minute or so. I've cleaned what I can reach, and sprayed WD40 all on the shaft. What now? (no smart remarks:-) ) I'm terrible at this stuff, but I try real hard. (then I'll have more question, probably) Thanks.
