Looking at a Argosy Seon 2-21-03
I saw a 20' (?) Argosy yesterday for sale for $2000. The skin (original paint) looks straight. The interior appears to be all intact. After surfing the "Airstream" forums I picked up a couple of pointer so I'm going back today to inspect the frame for rust, the floor board for rot..especially around the toilet, shower and sink area.
Anything else I should look for or be concern? Is the selling price resonable? Thanks

Re: ARGOSY TRAVEL TRAILER TIRES Clayton 4-29-03
I have an older 1978 Terry camper 30'
The tires are L78x15. I need to replace
these tires. I can not find the L78x15
tire. What is the difference between the 78Hx15 and the 78Fx15 tire? What tire would you recommend as a replacement for the L78x15?
Thanks

I have a 1978 Argosy, 31 feet in lenght, I would like to put aluminum wheels on my unit, it now has some old metal rims with some real ugly covers, did not the orginial unit come with aluminum rims? I have the orginial manual with my trailer and its shows mag aluminum wheel rims.

Re: ARGOSY TRAVEL TRAILER TIRES Ken Smith 4-6-04
Might want to consider sticking with the bias ply 700X15 tires. The bias tires have a heavier load rating than the metric equivelant, and we found ours at a very reasonable cost at our local farm supply store. Most bias 700X15's are light truck rated...Ken
