If you are new to the RV family or have been around for years. Please read the following message and check out the links before you buy a new RV.
We have a 36' Fifth Avenue, which is made by Thor Industries. This unit has been in the shop for repair a total of 9 months out of the first 20 months we owned it. We still have a list of over 15 items that have not been successfully repaired. Our warranty is now up and Thor will not even respond to letters or e-mails sent to their Corporate headquarters in Ohio.
Please look at the links posted below before you buy.
We may not be able to get any help, but hopefully we can keep someone else from having the same nightmares.

Do what I did----> write to the Secretary of State for Ohio! I bought my rig there and ended up with a dealer that wouldn't take my calls till the Secretary of State's office got involved. They ended up giving me $17,000 worth of parts and service......
Not surprized by your comments about Thor. I purchased an Airstream Safari 25 new in 1999. I purchased Airstream out of ignorance thinking it was the best.
Fortunately, I have been able to maintain most of my "problems" myself but I have never seen such poor workmanship. The "deeper" I go into the "guts" the more disgusted and disappointed I am in American Quality.
Before you buy Airstream, and it seems anything made by Thor "rip up the carpets" and see the seedy side.
