Salvage airstream by John Freeman
Post New Message I have a 30' 1969 or 1970 Airstream which I bought to be refurbished. Intended to gut much of it; save what I could.

Before I could, sadly, a 60' Loblolly pine fell directly over the bedroom.

I have no idea whether it's possible or desirable to completely gut it and attempt to hammer it back into some kind of shape, or just salvage it for parts and/or scrap metal.

It's still towable with good tires and wheel bearings (add-on trailetr lights)

Anyone with interest or suggestions, please let me know. It's going on craigslist as a free towaway soon unless I know better.

(Austin TX area)
