Have 29' airstream weighing 4800 pounds. want to go back and forth from maine to jersey twice a month. what vehicle to buy that's good on gas and road for towing?

You have several options (SUV, truck, or van). The most important thing is to confirm the vehicle is rated for that gross weight AND hitch weight. Also, make sure to include the contents (your stuff), fluids (water, LP, waste), and people (passengers) into the gross vehicle weight total.
