FYI - I - have just purchased (today) a 69 Westy that was in good shape for only $950.00. For another 6-700.00 It will be in primo shape and road ready. So they are out there, you just gotta look.

Hey im a surfer always have been always will be. Im living on the beach in Encinitas and i need to get a good VW bus. I have a 5 block commute to a good surf break but i wouldn't mind going down in mexico now and then. I need it to be reliable and safe. My price range is around $2,500.
