Hi! my name is jessie, and my stepdad said that if i find a vw bus that i like, we can restore it; only if it is within 2-3,000 dollars of restoration. no rust, good paint job not nessasary.
Hey
Im looking for someone in the western part of North Carolina that would have a VW bus in a good condition. I only want to use it for a day, i want to take it to prom this year. we will pay for someone to drive us to eat and to prom. this is just a little dream for me! thanks just e-mail me at CriminalJ@ncmentor.org
Okay so i love my vw bus, but if you are going to get one then just accept the fact that it IS going to break down. i have owned mine for 5 months now and it has broken down 5 times. i recently put a new engine in it myself and just yesterday the starter burned out on the freeway. i would say get one, and see how many cool people you meet when broken down on the side of the freeway. i have met alot of nice people. i would recommend not getting an automatic cause the first year they put automatics in busses was 73 and those engines are bigger but more complicated, which means that you will almost definatly need to take it in, unless you are a mechanical genius, i have a 69 bus with a 1600 engine i really like how simple it is especially on the side of the road email me if you have any questions
Hello!...again
Im looking for a VW bus. I have no prefrences of what it looks like but just be in the years of 60 or 70's. But Im hoping I could find one on the eastern portion near North Carolina. Is that completley hopeless. Price is no option.
