I am checking into purchasing a used synchro in the next few months. Can anyone provide information as to what years are good or bad?

I have just decided to get married after 17 years of happy traveling in 5 different Westfalia's. They have all been great vehicles, but this is the only Synchro I've had and it's the best one of the bunch. The 4WD is awesome. However, we've decided to get something that will work a little better for a new and different lifestyle now that we are in our mid 60's. So, I will be selling it. It's been babied, is much loved and in beautiful condition. I've never let anything go unrepaired on it so that it could always be counted on it the Colorado mountains or remote Four Corners deserts. If you are interested, give me a call at 970-385-7409 or e-mail. We just decided to sell it this weekend. So, I don't yet know what it's worth or have photos of it. Barbara
