I need some tech info on converting a 1965 split kombi into a camper... Any how to or dimensions & stuff welcome, how it worked what was used...

Hi Friend: Look! You can read for weeks and never be sure. The best bet is to borrow a Westy or go with someone for 3 - 4 trips. Decide what you can do without then go for it. I am envious of you, being able to start from scratch. I'm into my 3rd Westy and 3rd transAmerica trip and 10 years of camping and I am still changing my mind. Make all changes temporary until you settle on something. If you are young you're gonna find that this will not be the last VW camper, and in the future you are going to say..." if only I had that empty Kombi to start anew. Good Luck Sir.
