Looking for Eurovan with rear doors, not hatch. Campion 3-15-03
Any ever see/hear of a VW Eurovan with doors on the back instead of the hatch back?

I was told they exist as VW Eurovan Cargo vans but cannot find one anywhere.

I need to recreate quickly for myself an inexpensive field engineering office to do my site-testing on various mountain top telecom sites around the West. My old Renault Cargo Van that I was using was converted into a office with desk, toilet, cot, microwave and icebox. It was stolen [ probably for the expensive test equipment inside ] and I am desperate to find something with good gas mileage and small enough to negotiate the narrow dirt private roads I must go up and still have something with good freeway mileage.

I seek doors on the back because I want to seal up the sliding door and dedicate most of the interior space to the test equipment and seal off the drivers compartment from the back for security.

If anyone knows of a source for these vans, preferably used and around the 1993 to 95 vintage I would really like to know. I only got $3K from insurance for my loss so my shoestring budjet is limited. Its not a profitable time to be working in the telecom hardware business.
