According to 2 VW dealers, there is no difference in 2002 & 2003 EuroVan Campers. In mid 2001, they went from 140 to 201 hp, changed warranty periods, & dropped $5k price [of van & thus EVC].
Did you get an answer about any difference between the 2002 and the 2003 Eurovan camper? I'd sure like to know, as we are thinking of buying one or the other.
Am interested in the differences between 2001, 2002 and 2003. We have to sell our 2001 because beginning this spring we'll be needing a pickup to haul big cargo. Think we've set the price right but am continuing to do research.
From what I've read and seen, the big change was from 2000 to 2001, when the bigger engine, the VR6 140 HP, was first used.
Dealers told me no difference between 2002 &n 2003, except fewer 2003 will be converted at Winnebago, and 2003 will be the last year of the VW/Winnebago units. The VW EuroVan [standard van] price was reduced when the 201 hp unit came out. What do you want for your 2001 EVC?...miles?...condition?... location?
