I have recently purchased my first Camper, which I am v proud of.
Its a 1985 Type 25 Westfalia Joker Conversion,
All of its bits are standard, I.e. 3 way Fridge and Eberspacher Heater I think, unfortunately
the instructions are all in German.
I have included a picture of what I pressume to be the controls for the heater
as I am unable to get thie thing going, does anyone recognise the controls, if so could you point m in the right direction,
there appears to be an additional control in the back which has a hot cold and off switch and a 0 throught to 9 dial,
to many buttons, helpppp!!!
I am also unure how to get the fridge going off of the gas!
I presumed holding down the primer button while pressing the gas button would get it kicked off, but this has not worked
Solicito si algun campista, me pueda ayudar con catalogo de vanagon westfalia 1985, de camper o motor, cualquier ayuda le estaria eternamente agradecido, pues no he podido solucionar un problema en el ahogador.
I have also just bought a VW westfalia camper and have the same problem. The solution that I have come up with is to go to www.freetranslation.com and have the text translated. It maybe time consuming but at least you will be able to learn how everything works! I hope this helps.Good Luck!

If you have a US or Canadian model Westfalia then all the info that you require is in the Robert Bentley 'Vanagon' Manual.
This book covers aircooled, water cooled and Diesel versions.
If you reside the US side of the Atlantic then look at www.rb.com. If its the UK side then try my site www.vwbooks.co.uk.
