I am considering buying a 99 Eurovan camper with 25k miles in perfect condition. They are asking $24k here in Atlanta. Is this a reasonable price. Two back seat head rests and The cushion for sleeping up top are missing, is there a place to buy these.
Thanks!

Hi Bill I have an older VW camer, and I am learning the hard way that things like missing parts are signs of carelessness on the part of the owner, no matter how good the thing looks. I am hearing that the ones converted by Winnebago are not holding up very well after a few years, but if it is a German conversion is should be fine. I just found a place on e-bay Motors where you can check the title history for $15 if that interests you. Don't forget to have it checked by your own mechanic. I have had three 'bad' VW campers in a row
because I did not take the time and spend the fifty buck for that crucial information. Consumer Reports says that if they won't let your mechanic check it out, there may be a reason. Good luck!
I have a 99 Eurovan for sale with 80,000 Miles. I am asking $25,000. I did however work thru the problem parts after spending about $4000 with a good mechanic here in Denver. The problem is not the Eurvans but the incompetant VW mechanics at the dealers. I have found they really are pathetic. And I'm not just talking one location....they are universally bad. That being said, my camper runns great and there is nothing like cruising down the road at 100 mph pulling two jetskis.....lol
