|Re: Eurovan Camper with kitchen WANTED! east coast by Peter and Martha Conley|
I think we are very nearby with our garaged 1995 Eurovan Full-Camper. The coincidence is that I am taking pictures and placing our first ads tomorrow.
We are fanatics about maintenence and care and have done what we think will give another 100,000 trouble-free and enjoyable miles. We bought it in 1997 and have 105,000 miles.
We have three typed pages of detail including maintenance records, a Eurovan "library" and over $6,000 in enthusiast (radar, driving lights, GPS) safety (new dual deep-cycle house batteries, 8 professionallly added lights (VW neglected task and reading lights) Truck air horns with compressor, tank and tool-capable connections and a superb ($3,000) audiophile system.
I could go on and on. You should see and test it if you are still in the market. We are retired and have sadly escalated our way into 3 houses, 10 vehiles and 3 cats. The Eurovan just doesn't fit us anymore. Price? $14,500 on Craigs list, Samba.com and Gowesty.com. Pretty low. Our local quick sale, no ads, no tire-kickers price is $12,500. I doubt there is anything comparable in set-up or condition.
The body is accident and rust free with typical parking bruises and touched-up stone chips. The interior is absolutely like new (as an extreme, the stove is unused. Good hunting! (617) 965-3234.
