Pulling a car behind my RV makes it impossible to back up so I'm very careful about pulling into a spot. Still I occasionally have to get out, disconnect the car, back it out, then back out the RV and reconnect. It's much easier to tow my motorcycle than the car.
I tried using a LiftHitch that plugs into my receiver in about a minute. When I want my bike, I just push the button and an electric motor lowers it to the ground, I push the button again and the platform raises back up to the receiver height. That way there is no problem backing up since the whole thing rides on the 2" receiver, off the ground and no extra axle to pay for on toll roads.
I found it on-line at Lift Hitch dot Com.
