Furnace problems Cory 1-5-08
Hi there I'm new to this so bare with me please. My furnace in the camper has never worked since I bought it. When I turn my furnace on the blower comes on and that is it. It is an electronic ignition but doesnt spark at all.Any ideas would be great.

Hi Cory, it could be a few things... The most likely is the PC board since it isn't sparking but runs. You didn't mention brand or model or how old. If you can access the board easily you can remove it and take it to an RV shop and they should be able to test it for you. It's hard to diagnose your problem from here but that would be the first thing I'd check. Otherwise take the trailer to a shop. Good luck.

Cory, something else to try is if you can access the sparker inside the unit, see if its an appropriate distance from the strike plate inside the tube, if its bent too far away or too close, you might not be getting all the spark you need. Take a screwdriver and move it around so that it is about half an inch from the plate
