DuoTherm Furnace Eric Siebenthal 7-4-07
I have a DuoTherm Furnace. Model#16MHBX. Anyone know of any kind of Diagrams what-so-ever online?
Re: DuoTherm Furnace Doug 9-13-08
How do I remove. Furnace is working great, however I need to remove to fix other problems with the pickup camper. I have removed screws attaching the furnace to the cabinet, removed the propane tubing and the electric wires. The furnace stills feels solidly attached to the cabinet. It seems the flue pipe (which exits horizontally to the driver side) has to be detached from the furnace. What do I do next?

I am sure by now you have removed your unit from the cabinet, but if not I removed mine and it was easy untill I tried to pull it out. Seems thsat the exhast pipe will rust and not slide out like the intake side, I had to crush the outside flange area, remove the crome cover and you will see the flange, once I did that the unot will pull out of hte cabinet, Now the new problem is how do you remove the rusted pipe from the exhast pipe. I took a sawzall with a fine cut blade and it took me 20 mins to slit the damaged pipe only so I could crush that pipe and remove it. DO NOT CUT THE OTHER PIPE as it will leak carbon moxide into the living space. My unit is a 659300 good luck
