Speedometer quit. Everything works from pinon to instrument. Doesn't it seem odd for it to be an internal problem with the speedometer. the pinon gear looks fine.

Make sure that that cable inside the sheath is not broken. I have seen these broken, but still turning until a small load was placed upon them.................................................. speedometer quit. Everything works from pinon to instrument. Doesn't it seem odd for it to be an internal problem with the speedometer. the pinon gear looks fine.

The cable makes a loud noise i was wonder how to take it off or lose and spray it with wd40

The speedometer cable broke a couple of days ago, now the brake lights do not work, would this have anything to do with the brake lights not working?
