I am curious about common upgrades to improve 6.5l output. I just purchased this coach, and I am reasonably happy with it, but more is better. What kind of reliable mods can a guy make to this engine to boost it up?

Try John Kennedy at Kennedy Diesel in Loyal WI. Also there is a website specifically for this engine at www.62-65-dieselpage.com also go to www.usdieselparts.com/chevy.htm for other upgrades. I have the L65 F 6.5 TD engine in my Trek. First thing to do is to regularly change air and fuel filters us Stanadyne or Power Services additives and I also use Mobil Delvac1 synthetic in mine. I will be 'chipping" mine and fitting boost and pyrometer gauges on mine next year as this year I spent a bundle on improving the ride and handling of the Chevy P30 chassis. Phil C.

Try Banks engineering, they have something for everything in the way of engines, both gas and diesel. Their products are among the best produced anywhere. Good Luck
