I have a 96geo tracker 2wheel drve thats giving me the po740 cde.It comes up as the elctrical circuit malfunftion on my tc.The gentlman that checked it out for me could nt tell me if it was a wiring problem or relay or the actual torque converter. By diagnosing the problem i came to the concluion tht it was a wiring problm. So i checked out the harness on my transmission and disconnected it and found nothing wrng except the snap was broken. Went ahead and reinstalled and drove it and engin lght was still on. the reason I say it seems to be a wiring problem is because Im nt having any problm with my shifting or stlling out every thing seems to runng ok.Following day light goes after messing with my battery cables of which i also replaced the post on, light off fr one day and this mrning came back on. Can someone tell me if this is my electrical harness to my transmission or something in the area of my battery cables. |
