Shower diverter Ray steele 7-23-01
The faucet in my shower continues to pass a good quantity of water after I pull the diverter valve to send water through the shower head. This causes very low shower pressure. Can you remove the faucet and fittings from the front? There does not seem to be an access through the back side. It is a 1987 Winnebago Elandan.
Any other fixes other than replacing the fitting?

YES. YOU CAN REPLACE THE DEVERTER FROM INFRONT BY REMOVEING THE KNOBS AND THEN THE SET NUTS. I REPLACED MINE IN MY 79 BRAVE. THEY ARE AVABILE FROM CAMPING WORLD FOR $25.19.THE CAT. NUMBER IS 3994. HAROLD

Thanks,
By the way, I got the skylight installed this weekend. Think I got everything sealed up OK. It looks like it will be fine.
Now on to the faucet.

Re: shower diverter rosie 6-12-08
I have a showerhead and a handheld combo that I bought from Costco over a year ago and lately have problem with the diverter. Normal use is push down the diverter, water comes out from the showerhead. Pull the diverter up water goes to the handheld. Recently, when I push down the diverter, it won't stay down and would go back up. Water comes out from both showerhead and handheld. I did a test by pushing down the diverter and wrapped it tight with handkerchief to let it stay. It stayed in the down position but it still did not stop water from coming out from both sides. I went to Lowe's and they told me to look for the brand name to get the right diverter (nickel finished) for replacement. But nothing is stamped on it. I went to Costco but they told me it's discontinued and the brand is Shower Tech. But I can't find such name in the internet. I really appreciate if somebody can help.
