Re: surburban furnace by Bernie
Post New Message Bob,

I bought a Suburban furnace from camping world in '96 or '97 and it worked for 1 year. After the one year warrantee expired, I had to buy a $130 circuit board. This lasted almost a year. Then another circuit board. Now it has been working for quite a while. I am NOT impressed with Suburban. My $500 heater ended up costing more than $750!!

^Bernie

the furnace(30m btu) in our 1990 Innsbruck trailer was only blowing out cold air even though the ignitor appeared to be working. after unit was removed and cleaned by an rv repair person at his suggestion, the furnace put out only lukewarm air. after two uses the air is cold again and the ignitor is no longer heard clicking. is this unit able to be repaired or is a new one necessary? if necessary, what would a new unit cost?
