Re: HELP!!! 73' Dodge Titan R.V. rotors by Slow Freddy
Post New Message I am living in a 73' Dodge Titan motorhome. It is also my only source of transportation. I can not leave it parked in one place for more than a day or so cause it has bad tags. The rotors are worse than anyone I know has ever seen. I have been told that at any time they could break causing them to lock up and me to wreck. I can not find rotors for it anywhere. None of the auto parts stores even know what to look under. Could someone please tell me if there are rotars from any other vehicles I could use, or where I might find them. Please help, I have looked everywhere and dont know what to do.
Dear Lori,
We are starting at a very low position for the 73 Dodge.
I am going to assume that this motor is built on a 1 ton Dodge truck chasis.
Now Fast Fred is right, let your finger's do the walking here. Call your local crash repair center. They should have a Michelan flat rate manual for replacing rotors. This will give the part number for the rotors that were used in 1 ton trucks. There should only be a handful. Take those part numbers and go to Napa Auto Parts store. They should have a cross index from the original manufacturer to their part number. They then can identify the truck. Now, you call your favorite wrecking yard, and see what parts will interchange, using the Hollendex Index. You should have about three rotors to choose from.
Unfortunately, someone will have to disassemble to measure the diameter of the rotor, and then you can purchase the right one.

Be advised that rotors have to be turned wether new or used.

Hope this helps.

Slow Freddy
