If batteries are basically dead, change the batteries, converter is only to change for AC pwr to DC
Just bought my first RV and find 12 volt interior lights only receiving 6 volts of power from converter. Also, accessory batteries are basically dead, showing only 6 volts charged. Only getting 6 volt reading from converter. Turning on ignition or starting vehicle brings power supply to lights to 12 volts. Does anyone know what type of power converter is installed on the 1989 Chieftain and/or can you make a recommendation for a replacement converter? Or, has anyone experienced this? What is the cure? |
