I have an airstream stored at a friends house. He plugged in the travel trailer, turned on the AC and then plugged a leaf blower in the same outlet and proceeded to use the blower. Seems he shorted out the AC. I tested all the fuses, and there were none blown out. Is this a fixable problem or should the AC be replaced ?
I was checking out my Coleman Delta T motorhome air conditioner by connecting to my hot tub service. I carelessly connected the 115 volt unit to 240. I havent checked it out yet, but is it possible I damaged only the controls or should I get a new a/c unit.
We have a Cloeman air conditioner in our rv, for some reason it has started dripping water inside the trailer itself. Like condensation or something. Is there a drain tube that should be attached to it or something?
Thank You!
Kim
I have a 5th wheel 95 sportmans I don't know what make or model the air conditioning is but I turn it on by a thermostat and it will come on but it doesn't blow air out of the vents.
I have a Coleman Model 7330A30./
I would like to replace my leiving room vent with one that will close my small
vents and dump all the cold air out the big vent.
1. Can I get one for my Model Coleman?
2. What series vent would I need to order?
3. Can I install myself?
Can U help?
Thanks
Denny
Coleman rooftop air conditioner, compressor won't shut off, cools by switching the blower on manually, blower won't come on with thermostat control switch in Auto position. Can only shut the compressor off with the circuit breaker.
May have blown thermal up under cover. Does all else work when plugged in?? Did you reset breaker for A/C??

I'm a female - been reading about A/C problems. The fan keeps kicking on and off like trying to stay on but doesn't. Is this the capacitor? If so, how do I change it and where is it located. Can't afford to have dealer fix it. How do I check it out?
We have a 94 fifth wheel camper and a coleman air conditioner and it ice up had a tech check it out and we didn't have the fan on high. well two days later it has iced up again and and the fan was on high. what causes this?
thank you.
My RV air conditioner cools but after running awhile the compressor starts cyling on and off while the fan continues to run. Is this due to low refrigerant? If so, what refrigerant is used to recharge it, and how is this done? Jim
My ac unit in my jayco designer series fifth wheel only works on low fan and water pours under the ac unit i've replaced the thermostat didn't do any good i live in the rv and haven't moved it in prolly 2 years so i hate to hook on to it and pull it off what could be my problem
I just got a 82 pop-up with a coleman

We are new to rv living.have a 1995 gulfstream 19' travel trailer with a coleman rooftop airconditioner. we are confused as to how the airconditioner operates. we understand that it calls for a 30 amp service but we have regular household service. can the unit be run from 15 amp? do we need a 30 amp extension cord? what is the best way to ensure no problems

My bets are you did one of two things. You either caused the A/C circuit breaker or main coach breaker to trip, or you caused the A/C to run on low voltage which caused the compressor thermal check to trip. Check and rest all breakers in the coach and that should fix the problem. If the thermal tripped on the compressor it should rest itself once it cools down. If the A/C won't run then you will need to get out the old meter and start troubleshooting the circuit and the unit to find the problem.
The recycle time of my RV rconditioner
is set to long. It stays off to long and gets warm in between cycles. I called the factory (Jayco) and they told me there was no way to adjust it.
My question is does anyone make an elec-
tronic thermostat with an adjustable off time that will work for my
airconditioner. I was told that because of the D.C. controls, the electronic thermostat would not work. Is this true?
I have a Coleman air compressor which has frozen up. In addition the furnace also froze up. My husband looked up into the vent on the furnace and it was frozen as far as he could see. We bought the house brand new in August 1997 and the compressor was installed at that time. We have turned the air conditioner off and when the ice melts we have water around the furnace. We had this same problem last year and wwe had the drain cleaned and freeone put into the compressor. Please respond as to what you think the problem might be.
My coleman 6769 delta t series was running fine then it suddenly stopped cooling ( i dont hear the commpressor kicking on any more) is this the capacitor? or is it something else?
Have a Coleman Roof Air(ducted) that will not start up. Fan motor hums, compressor comes on. Removed ceiling filter and cover to expose fan. Gave fan a spin with my hand and unit functions normally. If I adjust thermostst to automatic, same condition occurs. What gives???
I just had mine fixed with the same problem. It was the run capacitor. There is a start and a run capacitor for the compressor, plus the blower capacitor. Very simple system. I would just pull the two capacitors and have them checked. If it isn't that, then you'll need to call someone to check the compressor. My capacitor was only $15 so the cheap way out is to just take them in to be tested.
I have a coleman 13,500 on motorhome, when you turn thermostat down does not turn compressor off, think it might be freezing up??????somebody said might be low on freeon,a/c has never been charged
Warm weather has already started in Florida. I tried to run the air conditioner in my airstream. Though the compressor "kicks in" it is not blowing cold air. Do I need a recharge? How do I do that?
My 6769 Delta T series AC fan motor will not run in any position heat or cool and low voltage led is on when in the cool position.I have a service manuel on this unit and through trouble shooting the fan motor section the recomendation is to replace the control box.The problem is that there are no replacement parts for the Delta T.series units.Does anyone have a fix for this problem or an electrical schenatic drawing for the Control Box.
I have the same problen as Bon Naugle on 10-14-05. Did he ever get resolve to his problem. Was he able to find an new control assembly. My Delta T has been diagnosed that the control panel is bad. I switched it out wit the other unit in the coach to make sure and it is bad. Where can I get a control panel?
Coleman a/c on R/V #6750d mach will start and run for 15 to 30 minutes and then throw the breaker.Replaced breaker but no change. Is this a failed run capacitor or what?
I have a 1987 5th wheel prowler camper, the coleman air conditioner runs fine for about 15 minutes then pops the circuit breaker. I can set the breaker and it will do the same thing. What is the cause and how do I fix this problem?
I have the same problem with a 1989 Airstream with a coleman a/C. There is a plastic pan under the unit to catch the condisation. The pan is cracked and the dealer tells me the pan is no longer available. He says the only solution is to try to repair the cracks or replace the A/C with a Durotherm A/C unit. If you repair the cracks, new ones will probably develop.
My air conditioner at our trailer is working fine for about ten minutes then it kicks the fuse breaker off. If you reset the breaker it works okay for about the same length of time then kicks the breaker off again. I replaced the breaker but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Brian
My coleman tsr 7300 roof top airconditioner start blowing then when the cold air normally starts blowing there is a noise, like something is blowing around inside the unit, then it either blows the fuse or just blows regular air. Can we fix this ourselves, if so how?
