I have purchased a horse trailer that has a duotherm ac. Soon we realized it was blowing air but not cold air. (The warranty was only good for the original purchaser) AC man came out, found broken coil and repaired it. We have done this 3 times now. It seems as though every time we use the trailer the coils break and leak out the freon.Any suggestions?

IS THE COIL BRAKING IN THE SAME PLACE? LOOK AND SEE IF ANY OF THE MOUNTS FOR THE COIL ARE BAD OR BROKEN. IF THEY ARE OK THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO TRY AND FIND A WAY TO STOP THE VIBERATION. IF THE COIL IS BRAKING IN THE SAME PLACE THE TUBING MIGHT HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE PERSON WHO REPAIRED THE COIL SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TELL YOU WHAT WAS CAUSING THE COIL TO BRAKE.
We have a Duotherm A/C Unit which is icing over during the day. We cleaned the Condensor and Evaporator coils and now the compressor does not come on. We sealed the air leaks to the air return and now it does not appear to get as cold as previously. After doing all of these steps, why would the evaporator coils still ice over.
