Fridge should automatically go to gas when generator cuts off, but check light always comes on indicating it isn't working on gas. What's wrong?

Fridge should automatically go to gas when generator cuts off, but check light always comes on indicating it isn't working on gas. What's wrong? Could be any of several things, such as an Orifice Web spider, a tiny spider who will set up housekeeping in the burner orifice, or a defective logic board, maybe a failed ignitor, or even a rust bridge across the spark gap, to the most obvious, out of propane.
