I have a 74 24ft indian winn class a with a 440-4 3 speed auto and a 356 ratio rear im traving at under 10,000 on the flats what kind of mileage should i get? i get 4 now. thank you!!

I have a 35 ft. schoolie with a 345 International engine. On a recent 5000 mile trip, I averaged 5.6 MPG while towing a full sized Ford pickup truck. I drove around 3000 RPM (60 MPH) most of the time. I am going to install a new electronic ignition system soom with cab control of timing, and will post the results of that modification. I will bet I can get the mileage up to 7. You should be getting 6.5 to 8 depending on how fast your traveling, and hoe hard you accelerate , and what yout towing. Install a Vacum gage , stay above 6 in and enjoy the ride! FAST FRED
