Wheelmaster covers Ray 10-26-01
I recently had 2 rear tires replaced and my extenders were leaking, so they did not install them. I have since purchased a new set but the wheelmaster hub cover is not aligned such that the mounting brackets for the extenders are in the correct position. Can you remove the central hubcover without jacking the RV up and taking all the lug nuts off. I can't see what is holding the hub cover in place. I just need to take it off and rotate it about 1/4 turn to align the brackets. Appreciate any help.

Interested in purchasing decal for the center of the Wheelmaster cover...It has black background with diamond shaped emblems in a circle. The covers came standard on our 2004 Georgetown Motorhome.

YOu will have to remove all the lugs, only half hold hub on, but when you rotate the 1/4 you will have to remove those lug..but remove the lugs that hold hub...then put those back and torgue then take off the others and mount hub and hope that aligns you

I just bought a 1993 ford E350 ambulance and can't figure out how to get the wheel similuators off they are stainless and look to be all one peice (cap, lugs and cover) i tried prying them off but they won't come off in 4 places between simiulated lugs it looks like there is a rivit through the cover for some reason

Bob,
Thanks for the post. One question. If I understand it, every other lug holds the hub on. If so, would it be possible to rotate the hub in 2 slots increments to possibly realign the brackets without removing the remaining lug nuts? Also, can you do this with a regular 4-way lug wrench or does it take a medium to large Gorilla to tighten the lug nuts properly?

Its worth a try once you have hub off worth a try....lot of torgue, to loosen you will need a good size 4 way or you should have lug nut wrench made for it in the tire bay???
