I am back from a 2 week vacation and still have the problem. Kent, I need to get back to you(see prior replies about Oct 12.) After removing the harness on the gas tank, I found I could get a continuity reading on the black and red wires but not on the yellow. However I cannot get any voltage reading using a voltmeter. Does this mean I have a bad wire between the gauge and the tank. I still can get the gauge to move by touching the back of the gauge-but it will always read full or empty-it will even read full with the key on or off and full with the harness attach or detached from the tank. Where do I go from here
