Is there some 'trick' to removing the spark plug cable/cover from the spark plug. I've tried pulling but am getting nowhere. (I'm dealing with a '94 D-350 Dodge Van) Any help?

You'll need a "spark plug boot remover" tool. They're made in several designs and work by applying the pulling effort to the boot's bottom, pulling on the boot from above only serves to cause it to grip the plug more tightly, continued pulling will damage the wires themselves.
