Fresh water tank leaks Howard 7-1-06  
Hi everyone,

I recently discovered that my 1985 Kustom 17' trailer has a number of small leaks in its fresh water tank.

Is there a suitable spray-on or paint-on exterior sealer available that does not contaminate the water.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

There are people who can "weld" the tank. Suggest checking with dealers in your area. Also, have not used but have heard plenty about Eternabond tape which is said to do the job. A search of that name will get any number of sites that mention its qualities and/or sell it. Good luck.

The tank is made of a heavy-duty plastic, so I'll try the Eternabond route.
