We have a 2005 Winnebago Aspect - on our first long trip the house batterys overheated leaving an awful sulfur type smell. Any advice on why houe battiers would cook??? Dealer not being helpful any advice would be greately appreciated.
The batteries were being overcharged, that is, the charging voltage was too high, in excess of 13.5-13.8 volts DC. If the overheating occured when connected to shore power, then the charging module in your power converter is defective.
