The wiring fell off the gas or electric selector switch. I need a diagram to repair the unit. the one on the unit is damaged and is not readable.

The freezer in my unit gets cold but the lower unit is not. Is there something I should be aware of?

The wiring diagram on mine was inside the little box that covers the printed circuit board,where the wires are on the outside of the motorhome. My diagram shows the following colors (left to right starting from top): Y, BLU, ORG. Then, left to right (across the bottom), BLK, WH, RED. I assume this is looking at the back of the switch, but I can's say for sure because my wiring also fell off and unfortunately, mine has some of the wires of other colors. Bill

Hello, Have an 1987 trailer with what is suppose to be an 838 Eg2 or maybe Eg3 norcold refrig. Told the thermocoupler is bad -and can't find a new one anywhere. Got any ideas for locating one? Thnx, Don

Bought 1984 Coachman Classic--1st RV. Having problem with Norcold 838eg2=--Fridge & Freezer--will not work in any mode. None of the eyebrow indicator lights light up (top of freezer door). Any ideas? General Question: How does one switch from shoreline 110v to the 12v system--is there a switch? If so where is it located?

I have a 1986 tioga mtr home that has a norcold model 838 eg2 refer. In the back of the unit i discovered there is a small circuit board which i believe is the control that shows whether i am operating on gas or electric on the on the panel inside the mh.(pane ontop of the refer inside mh) removed this board and discovered there is a burn mark which tells me it short circuited. would like to know how i can find a replacement circuit board. am not getting any cooling on either gas or electric.sure would appreciate some help on this problem
