Post New Message I have an '88 f-250 (302), and had a similar problem. Fuel pumps were working, fuel at the rail, injectors good, etc. Turns out it was the valve that switches between gas tanks would randomly switch to the second tank (which was no longer there). next time it happens, disconnect fuel line before that valve (if your truck has it) put key in on position, see if fuel comes out, then check after the valve. If there's fuel on tank side, but none on engine side, then you've found your problem.
