Post New Message Thanks for the description of the fix for this problem. I have a 96 Ford Mustang and the Check Engine Light comes on and off at times. I got the Error Code from Auto-Zone and it is a P1443 Aux Emission Control. After calling two Ford Dealers and getting that they can't tell me what the problem is without testing it with their Diagnostics. I looked to the internet. Funny you have a discription of what to check. I'll check it out and see if I can fix it myself. Any more information would be greatly appriciated.
