Suburban furnace in Forest river RV not lighting Unless engine started Mark 1-11-18
This just started. The fan will blow, but the igniter will not start the furnace unless the engine is started. there is enough power to easily start the engine (this may be a coincidence) but it has worked the last two times

Hi Mark, Hard to tell from here, my guess is apparently you don't have enough voltage in your house battery(s) to run the blower motor fast enough to trip the sail switch to allow the furnace to fire. When you start the engine the alternator puts out enough to bump up the house batt's to speed the motor to operating range. Depending on the electrical set up of course. Good luck
