Auto park p-30 greg 3-7-03
I have a 1993 p-30 motor home & have heard a lot of complaints on the auto park and i am concerned that it will fail while on the road. What parts normally go out and how do i get rolling again if it fails where there is no service, thought i could carry the normally failed parts with me

The only problems I have every had with the auto-brake are the switches leaking. I have had my M/H for 7 years and no othe problems. They do tend to lock up going into reverse occassionly. That problem can be resolved by ajusting the cam linkage under the drivers side firewall.

I had a senser switch to go out located on the hyd. reservior tank. On the dash, the light indicated the auto park was still on but was not. Have had the brakes to not release twice. Both times was my fault, started moving before brakes was fully released. Waited let drive shaft brake cool down, worked ok. May I mention also about the foot emergency brake(rear brakes) there are two springs under neath the chassic near the trans that need to be sprayed with silicon. Mine rusted off-had no foot brake for rear brakes.
