Question on '87 6V92 TA Muffler by JR | |
![]() |
Is the muffler that is used on an 87 NJT MCI-9 with a 6V92 TA DDEC II different from what may be found on a truck with a similar engine? Another way to ask the question is: What parts are different in a "clean air technology" bus compared to buses without the clean technology? What makes it so "clean"? I have been told that the mufflers are really restrictive. Is this so? My muffler looks new, so I wouldn't want to replace it unless there is something to be gained HP wise. Thanks for any info. JR |
