|F150 wont start||James||1-27-03|
|I have a 95 Ford 150, 302.|
I turn the ignition and all I get is a click. The battery has been chaecked as good and the same with the starter. This year model has 2 solenoids, one on the starter and one on the fender wall. The one on the starter was checked when the sarter was check and is OK. Which leaves the one on the fender wall. I turned the truck ignition to ON and crosses the poles with a wire and again all I get is a click.

|MIND BLOWING..........I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAW THIS ONLINE. THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY 1992 F250 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. I CAME OUT TO MY TRUCK AFTER DRIVING IT AROUND ALL AFTERNOON, AND BOOM IT WOULDN'T START. IT TRIED FOR A SECOND,THEN WENT DEAD. NOW ALL I GET IS A CLICK AS WELL. I TRIED CROSSING WIRES ON MY SOLENOID ON THE FENDERWALL WITH NO RESULTS. I CHECKED THE BATTERY,AND IT WAS GOOD. I GET A READING ON ALL DASH,AND ALL OTHER POWER WORKS (RADIO,WINDOWS ETC..)SO THAT ELEMINATES DITRIBUTOR. I WAS JUST GOING TO BY A NEW STARTER AND GO WITH THAT. I FIGURE WITH 223,000 MILES IT HAS TO GO EVENTUALLY. I WAS NOT AWARE THERE WAS A SOLENOID ON THE STARTER ITSELF. I'LL TRY THAT AS WELL. IF YOU HAVE FIGURED IT OUT BY NOW PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW IT WENT.|
